AERZEN at the GASTECH 2025
Customised and reliable solutions for the process gas industry

From 9 until 12 September 2025, AERZEN will be at GASTECH in Milan to present its extensive portfolio of solutions and its high engineering expertise.
Maximum process reliability thanks to customised compressor solutions
Air and process gas compression or conveying is required in all key industrial sectors - even in critical or demanding ranges. Compressor technologies differ when highly critical process gases are compressed – with high demands on engineering and safety. As a competent and experienced partner to the process gas industry AERZEN knows exactly what the application-specific challenges are and supports applications with sustainable state-of-the-art technologies, a wide range of services, the highest product quality, customised engineering and high-end technological solutions. VR compressors from AERZEN are the ideal choice for fluctuating operational conditions and oil-incompatible gases. The oil-free screw compressors of the VRA series are used in single and multi-stage configurations in chemical, petrochemical industry, raw material and energy production plants and in many other process engineering production facilities worldwide. And oil-injected screw compressors from the VMY series deliver the highest differential pressures and compression ratios in the AERZEN product portfolio (volume flows up to 23,500 m3/h, differential pressures up to 20 bar) and are characterised by maximal reliability and low operating costs. They are also insensitive to fluctuating process parameters and gas compositions and are equipped with a control valve for stepless regulation of the volume flow.

There are virtually no limits to the possible applications of AERZEN screw compressors and positive displacement blowers. These are found in countless applications in the process industry for chemistry, iron and steel, oil and gas or industrial gases.
AERZEN blower and compressor packages are characterised by maximum energy efficiency, system availability and service-friendliness as well as a wide range of types and many modification options and work reliably in continuous operation for several years. Besides special ATEX versions, efficiency optimisation, life monitoring and predictive maintenance are also among the fair highlights.
But AERZEN also offers precise planning and detailed engineering for so-called revamp projects, i.e. for the insertion of new blower and compressor stages into existing systems, using innovative 3D laser measurement.
Hydrogen compression with screw compressors
Hydrogen is establishing itself as an energy source of the future and is an important building block for the decarbonisation of industry. As a strong partner to the process industry, AERZEN has been dealing with the topic of hydrogen compression for decades and therefore has a high level of expertise in this range. The AERZEN product range includes both the oil-free series VRA, the water-flooded series VRW as well as the oil-flooded series VMY and scores highly in terms of installation space, cost-effectiveness and process reliability. The oil-free, water-flooded screw compressor VRW 536 M brings H2 volume flows of up to 6,000 m3/h to a maximal final pressure of 10 bar(a). This solution is therefore perfectly suited as a pre-compressor for reciprocating compressor systems in electrolysis projects and reduces investment costs and installation space.
