Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies übernimmt Seal Aftermarket Products, LLC.
Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies has acquired the Florida-based company Seal Aftermarket Products (SAP), LLC. Specializing in automotive transmission kits and components, SAP will be integrated into Freudenberg's Corteco division. This acquisition strengthens Corteco's market position, particularly in the transmission sector, and enhances their market access, especially in North America. The integration aims to complement and expand the offerings under the Corteco and TransTec brands.
Chris Petronella, Vice President of Corteco North America, noted that the combination of TransTec and SAP?s Toledo Trans-Kits (TTK) brands will create synergies by leveraging their respective strengths. The acquisition aligns with Corteco's strategy to address both current and future demands in the automotive aftermarket industry, including the gradual transition to electric mobility.
Corteco, founded in 1996, is a significant player in the independent automotive aftermarket, providing around 26,000 OEM-quality products. Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies, headquartered in Plymouth, Michigan, operates as a joint venture and leads in sealing technologies and e-mobility applications globally.
