Awards - The Game Awards 2014 - Alle Kategorien und Nominierungen

Der bekannte Videospiel-Journalist Geoff Keighley hat sich ein ambitioniertes Ziel gesetzt Die von ihm gerade erst gegründeten The Game Awards 2014 sollen auf Anhieb zur wichtigsten Preisverleihung der Branche avancieren. Keighley möchte sich dafür an den Oscars und den Grammys orientieren und ein Gaming-Äquivalent zu den beiden populären Preisen erschaffen.

Nun haben Keighley und sein Team die Kategorien und die dazugehörigen Nominierten für die Preisverleihung bekanntgegeben. Aussichten darauf, der Gewinner des Abends zu werden, haben wohl Hearthstone Heroes of Warcraft , Mittelerde Mordors Schatten , Dark Souls 2 und South Park Der Stab der Wahrheit mit gleich mehreren Nominierungen. Nintendo wurde gleich zwölf Mal nominiert.

Die Nominierten wurden von insgesamt 28 Pressevertretern aus aller Welt ausgewählt - aus Deutschland war Joachim Hesse von Spieletipps (früher PC Action) mit dabei. Die nominierten Spiele mussten bis zum 25. November 2014 veröffentlicht werden, um sich für eine Nominierung zu qualifizieren.
