Was heißt berühmt? Rock around the Clock ist sicherlich mit Abstand das bekannteste Lied von Bill Haley und ein echter Klassiker, aber sein erster echter Hit kam vorher und hieß Crazy Man, Crazy. Ob sein Bekanntheitsgrad dadurch schon als "berühmt" einzuordnen war, mögen andere entscheiden.
