Kurz zum Verständnis: Es geht darum, dass ein neuer Vorstand für ein Unternehmen in der Krise gefunden werden soll und es stehen drei im Buch beschrieben zur Auswahl. Jetzt sollen die Vor- und Nachteile abgewogen werden und dann soll eine Entscheidung getroffen werden.
Achja, und wir sollen einige Passiv-Sätze verwenden. So wirklich viele hab ich davon leider auch noch nicht drin. Also wenn jemand beim Korrekturlesen eine spontane Idee hat, kann er gerne einen umschreiben/reinbasteln.

I have thought about the choice of our new CEO. A decision was hard to make because all of the candidates have advantages and disadvantages. Nevertheless I have chosen a candidate who will be able to help us to overcome our financial crisis.
I think, John Creed as CEO could help us to manage our financial problems with his experience in training managers. Recruiting him will increase our share price in the short-term. Furthermore he has a 100-day-plan how he will achieve his goals by dramatic changes in policy and staff. The big problem is that John Creeds claims are unrealistic in our situation. He is the most expensive with a salary of £750,000 and a guaranteed 2.4 million dollar pension. This is why I conclude that his ideas for our company could also be unachieveable.
A little bit more realistic is the current chief operating officer David Preston. He wants a pay of £650,000 plus bonuses and share options. Additionally a big salary increase is expected by Mr. Preston. I think he is an experienced member of staff but there is no highlight in his career which proves these experiences.
Finally we have Marjorie Sweetman as a successful chief executive officer of a chain of department stores. When she took over the department, it was losing money. Her experiences are proved by her success. I favour her believe in people and steady progress. Especially her offer to link bonuses to the performance is the best way in our situation and she has not asked for a golden parachute. A short-term fall of the dividends wouldn't be a problem as our business goals are long-term.
Therefore, I recommend Mrs. Sweetman as our new CEO because her expectations and her strategy are the most realistic.
