habe eben meine Mails abgerufen, da war eine von www.pearsons.ws dabei, daß der Dienst geschlossen wird.

I am going to CLOSE Get paid at Pearsons.

I will keep it open to make payouts to members and refunds to advertisers where needed.


This was not an easy decision to make. What made it easier was a problem I have with a harddisk crash and my backups not working.



I have lost ALL emails sent to me between 12th October 05 and 22nd June 06, if you have written to me recently please re-send.



I use ghost to make backups onto rewriteable dvds, I take a backup of the operating system/programs partition whenever something important is changed and backup the data partition at least once a week. 2 days ago I had a harddisk failure.

I got a new harddisk and the last backup set and got busy with it. The restore would not work, took the one before that and it would not work either. I have 5 sets and none of them work.

Took them to a different computer, would not work on that, took them to a friend and tried, would not work.


I have tried everything except flushing them down the toilet wacko.gif

The last backup set I have that works is on cd's from November 05



Anyway, re-installing and setting up everything gave me a good reason to review what I am doing on-line, what is working and what is not working.

I have other on-line businesses and Get paid at Pearsons takes more time to run than all the others together and is also the ONLY one that runs at a loss.



So, it is closing

Make sure your payout details are correct.

Advertisers, I will be working out and making refunds later today. there are a couple where I will simply cancel the transactions.

PS.: Der Dienst hatte immer ausgezahlt, kein Minimum-payout sondern einmal im Monat, egal wieviel Guthaben drauf war.
